Hooray! My new blog is up and running. Thank you for coming to check it out! After almost 9 years in the photography business, I can honestly say that I am more excited now than ever before. Well, I am so darn far behind in my blog posts, but I wanted to at least take a second and post this lovely award from WeddingWire. WeddingWire is such a great website where couples can search for their wedding vendors all in one spot and read the reviews so they know what they are getting before they actually make a purchase. So cool! Anyways, I can definitely say that I was happy to have gotten this and just wanted to share.

I am so thrilled to say that one of my favorite weddings from 2011 was featured today on www.InspiredByThis.com, one of the best wedding blogs out there. I just loved so many elements of this wedding, starting with the most important one, the bride and groom. Both Cyndi and Eric were edgy in style and as nice as can be. A killer combo, right?! They speckled details of their style throughout the wedding day from the cool invites to Eric's band Of The Seven playing personalized songs throughout their ceremony. The whole day, from start to finish, was a dream for me to capture.

I flew back to Connecticut to capture Rose and David's wedding last June and such an amazing experience. Not only were the bride and groom both unbelievable but so was everyone involved in the wedding. There were so many people involved with the intricate details, that there are some major shout outs going on below. But the biggest shout out is for Candice of Jubilee Events. Style Me Pretty was wonderful enough to feature this wedding because of how gorgeous it was! I love Style Me Pretty! xoxo

This fantastic couple volunteered to help me do a photo session for a video recording I was doing. We had a blast playing around with many different ideas and props. Although they weren't engaged at the time of this photo shoot, I knew they would get married someday because the love between them was bursting from the seams.AND ... I was right! They are currently engaged and awaiting their big day :-) Jomygoodness is a fantastic wedding blog who always knows how to pick the most up date styles and inspiration boards. Definitely a go to site for any upcoming bride to be!
